Varsity Stingrays 23-24 Season Recap

by Scott Burnett

Congratulations to our Varsity Stingrays who ended the regular season in 1st place with an impressive 17-0-1 record! Rays continued their winning ways in the playoffs, beating Stockton 5-1, and then Bishop Gordon 6-0 until falling to Servite 2-3 in a shootout loss in the Ridge Conference Championship game. The Varsity team had a tremendous season, and although they did not bring home the championship, they did bring home some records for the ADHSHL. Most wins in regular season and ZERO power play goals against all season. Zachary Burnett led the team in goals (20), assists (27) and total points (47). Makai Collins was awarded Goaltender of the Year with a .952 save percentage and an average goals against of only .81!  We are very proud our Stingrays and are looking ahead to another strong season in 24-25!
